Required Supplies by Instrument
Piano
These supplies should be brought to each lesson. There may be additional supplies needed at the recommendation of your instructor.
Faber piano adventures
This is the curriculum we use when teaching piano. There are books for each experience level, the first level (absolute beginner) being Premier (premier, level 1, level 2A, level 2B, and so on). Each level comes in a four book set: Lesson, Technique, Theory, and Performance. You will need to purchase the full set of the level your teacher determines you are on.
Three ring binder
One BLACK three ring binder of any size will be needed to hold individual sheets of music and hand-outs that will be provided by your teacher. We require black because these binders will be used for recitals and other performances.
Practice record
Each lesson you will be given a practice record for you to log your work throughout the week. It is important that this record makes it back to each lesson in order to track your progress.
voice
These supplies should be brought to each lesson. There may be additional supplies needed at the recommendation of your instructor.
Vocal books
At your first lesson you will make a plan with your teacher and they will direct you to what books to buy. You can also bring whatever songs you know you would like to learn!

Water Bottle
This is not required but highly recommended to keep your instrument lubricated properly. It can be hard to sing with a dry throat!
violin
These supplies should be brought to each lesson. There may be additional supplies needed at the recommendation of your instructor.
Violin & Shoulder Rest
It may seem obvious that you need to bring your instrument, but if you're new to violin, there are additional items you need that you may not realize. To play the instrument you must have a shoulder rest. This is shown in the image above. You must also bring a bow, rosin, and a microfiber cloth.

Viola
These supplies should be brought to each lesson. There may be additional supplies needed at the recommendation of your instructor.
Viola & Shoulder rest
It may seem obvious that you need to bring your instrument, but if you're new to violin, there are additional items you need that you may not realize. To play the instrument you must have a shoulder rest. This is shown in the image above. You must also bring a bow, rosin, and a microfiber cloth.

Cello
These supplies should be brought to each lesson. There may be additional supplies needed at the recommendation of your instructor.
Cello & Bow
It may seem obvious to bring your instrument, but if you're new to cello, make sure you also bring a bow, rosin, and a microfiber cloth. Also keep in mind that the cello goes between the legs so be conscientious of the bottoms you wear.
